Friendship Baptist Church

At 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 15, Friendship Baptist Church will conduct their monthly business meeting. Immediately following business meeting, the church will meet together for prayer. Patch the Pirate Club (for children ages 4-12) and “Teen Time” also meet at 7 p.m. each Wednesday.
“Teen Time” is a ministry to teenagers that includes Bible study, games, and fellowship. Patch the Pirate Club is led by Mrs. Kristy Schott assisted by Mrs. Virginia Rivers and Mrs. Lisa Larson. Teens are led by Bro. Ron Schott and Bro. Alan Larson.
Friendship Baptist Church Sunday School is Bible study for all ages. The Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. and has spaces available for adults, teens and children. Morning Worship begins at 10:45 a.m. Each Sunday morning our pastor, Bro. Glenn Forman challenges the congregation with a message from the King James Version of the Bible after the congregation sings songs from the hymnal under the direction of Mrs. Kristy Schott. The morning service will feature special music from the Ladies’ Trio, Nancy Wyss, Janet Carson, and Martha Vanskike. The organist is Mrs. Nancy Wyss and the pianist is Mrs. Freeda Forman.
Sunday Evening worship begins at 6 p.m. with special music provided by Mrs. Beverly La Rue. Also, Sunday evening at 6 p.m. Bro. Earl Traynor meets with the RA boys, assisted by Bro. Alan Larson.
On Monday, October 20 at 6 p.m. the Friendship Circle meets in the basement for their monthly carry-in meal. The Friendship Circle includes Senior Adults from all over the community meeting for a time of conversation as they share a meal together. The Friendship Circle has plenty of room for more participants and encourages all seniors to bring a dish and join in.
