Friendship Baptist Church

Friendship Baptist Church provides age graded Bible studies through Sunday School beginning each week at 9:30 a.m. Morning Worship begins at 10:45 a.m.
Pastor Glenn Forman is presently leading the church in a verse by verse study of the book of Acts. He will bring a message from Acts Chapter 17 this Sunday. The congregation is led in singing of hymns from the Baptist Hymnal by Mrs. Ron (Kristy) Schott. Special music in the morning service will be provided by Mrs. Lester (Sheri) Beasley.
After morning worship this Sunday, the church will have the Annual Sunday School Picnic. The hot dogs, burgers and fried fish will be furnished at Plunkett Park. On Sunday evening, our pastor is presenting a series of sermons “Gems from the Old Testament Prophets.” The special music in the evening service will be provided by Isaiah Schott.
Each Sunday evening at 6 p.m., Bro. Earl Traynor leads the Royal Ambassadors (RA’s). Also on Sunday at 6 p.m., Girls in Action (GA’s) meet and are led by Mrs. Valory Wright. RA’s and GA’s are mission education groups for children grades 1-6.
On Wednesday, September 23, at 7 p.m., Pastor Forman will lead the weekly interactive prayer service. Also, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Mrs. Kristy Schott is launching a new adventure with the “Patch the Pirate Club” (PPC) entitled “Kilamanjaro.” PPC is for children from ages 4-12. She leads the children in singing scripture songs and conducts an age-appropriate Bible study as well as other Bible activities. Mrs. Schott is assisted in PPC activities by Mrs. Virginia Rivers. Bro. Ron Schott leads the Youth Group each Wednesday with the assistance of Bro. Alan Larson.
