Friendship Baptist Church

Sunday, April 24, the Friendship Baptist congregation had an outstanding day! Sunday School attendance was up by 10 and morning worship attendance was 104. It was good to see so many new friends and such a great group of those who are faithful in attendance in services Sunday. The power of God was witnessed as several responded during the invitation. The wonderful service was enhanced by friends and family present to witness the baptism of two new members. The noon carry-in meal was also a huge success with between 70 and 80 participating.
This week, Wednesday, April 27, at 7 p.m., Pastor Glenn Forman will present a brief Bible study on prayer followed by an interactive prayer service. Also, at 7 p.m. each Wednesday, Mrs. Kristy Schott leads the “Patch the Pirate Club” (PPC). PPC is for children from age 4-12. In PPC children sing scripture songs, participate an age appropriate Bible study and other Bible activities. Mrs. Kristy Schott is assisted by Mrs. Virginia Rivers. Bro. Ron Schott leads the Youth Group each Wednesday at 7 p.m. and he is assisted by Bro. Alan Larson.
Our morning Sunday School has space available for any who are interested in Bible study. Sunday School begins each week at 9:30 a.m. Morning Worship begins at 10:45 a.m. Each Sunday our pastor brings a challenging message straight from the Bible. Singing during the worship service will feature songs from the hymnbook led by Mrs. Kristy Schott. Sunday morning, May 1, The Ladies’ Trio (Mrs. Nancy Wyss, Mrs. Janet Carson and Mrs. Martha Vanskike) will bring special music prior to the message. At the close of the morning service we will observe the ordinance of baptism as we welcome a new member to our church body. On Sunday evening at 6 p.m., Pastor Forman will bring a challenging message. Special music will be presented by Bro. Walter Kropf before the evening message. GA’s will also meet at 6 p.m.
The GA’s are led by Mrs. Valory Wright.  For more information regarding the ministries of Friendship Baptist Church visit the church website Please call the church office (573-581-4038) for information, recordings of our services, or to arrange transportation to our services.
