Free eye exams for infants are available

Posted on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 10:23 am

Did you know that 80% of our observations of our surroundings come from vision? One of the things Parents as Teachers (PAT) does is educate families about services available for children.
One of these very important services is the InfantSEE project sponsored by the American Optometric Association and The Vision Care Institute of Johnson and Johnson Vision Care Incorporated.
Parents can get a free eye exam for their infant between the ages 6 months-one year. The free vision test checks eye health, movement, nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
See for more information and to locate a participating optometrist.
