At approximately 5:21 p.m., the Mexico Public Safety Department says it responded to the intersection of Buchanan and Morris in Mexico in reference to a vehicle driving into a home.

Responding personnel learned that Steven Stockdall, 35, of Jefferson City, was driving a 2005 Mercury northbound on Morris when it collided with a 2006 Buick, driven by Shelby Ludovicy, 19, of Mexico, which was stopped at the intersection.

After the collision, the Mercury “continued northbound, leaving the roadway and driving into the front of a home, causing significant structural damage.”

Mary Schaefer, 33, Dalasha Dorsey, 17, Tristan Jones, 20, and Anntravea Dorsey, 25 were in the home at the time.  They were taken to “Audrain Community Health” by the Audrain Ambulance District and mutual-aid partners.  All four were treated for their injuries and released.
