Former Vandalia Cinema has the word “Sold” on its sign.

While all of the paperwork is not officially filed, the keys are in the hands of a new owner for the Vandalia Cinema building on Highway 54.
Michael and Audra Evans, owners of Evans Excavation & Farms, are finalizing the final paperwork for their purchase from Wayne and Virginia Robertson.
Michael Evans said plans include a holding lot for storage containers he’s selling. He’s also looking to lease containers for storage with a focus on those needing a place to store items while remodeling a home or business. The couple also plans to fix up the front lobby area to  lease it out to a business.
Some of the other services the business currently provides includes skid steer and excavation, concrete removal, brush removal, snow removal, driveway construction, hauling, and more.
Contact the business at 573-721-5757 or visit them on their Facebook page, “Evans Excavation & Farms.”
