According to a letter given to bank customers, the First National Bank of Audrain County will change its name to Central Bank of Audrain County on July 25.
The change allows for the bank’s customers to use teller services throughout the Central Bancompany family of local banks.
“Same local bank, same people making local decisions, same community focus, just a new name,” said First National Bank of Audrain County President Mike Bunge in the letter.
He noted that the same people ready to serve customers at branch locations now will be the same after the change in name.
Notable details include:
• Old checks will work fine and will be honored. At the time of check renewal, new checks will have the new name of the bank.
• New debit and credit cards will be sent to customers in the next 30 days. New cards will only have a name change. Account numbers, expiration dates, and security codes will not be new. The old ones will work until the new cards are received.
• The bank’s new website is www.centralbankac.net. It also features access to all 134 local branches. Those in Audrain County are located in Mexico, Laddonia, and Vandalia.
The Central Bancompany family of community banks includes Boone County National Bank, Central Bank of Lake of the Ozarks, Empire Bank, First Central Bank, First National Bank of St. Louis, Ozark Mountain Bank, and many others.
“Everything else about your relationship with us will work just as it always has with our strong commitment to you and your financial needs intact,” Bunge added.
“…Central Bank of Audrain County will continue to grow and prosper because of the trust you have placed in us. We are grateful for that trust and promise to continue our strong commitment to you and our community.”
