Keri Bradford was hostess to the Farmer Farmerette Club at her home on Thursday evening, May 1 at 6 p.m. An enjoyable carry-in meal was served before the meeting began with Ginger Mangan saying grace.
President Kay Reading called the meeting to order with the pledge to the American flag led by Keri. Roll call, an attraction or state you would like to visit, was answered by Bradford, Reading, Claudine Lybarger, Pauline Oberman, Jeannie Smith, Ginger Mangan, Pauline Keithley, Elsie Lybarger, and Clara Shaver.
Song leader Oberman led the group in singing “God Bless America.”
Bradford read the devotional from Nehemiah 8:13.
Mangan helped each person decorate a canvas tote bag for the craft project. The mystery prize donated by Bradford was won by Elsie Lybarger.
Shaver read the treasurer’s report and the secretary’s report was held over for next month due to the absence of Wanda Hanson who was unable to attend.
Shaver had the game and everyone won a prize.
Next month’s meeting will also be held at Bradford’s with reading as the hostess.
