Come home to agriculture at the Missouri State Fair. This year’s fair runs August 10-20 in Sedalia. It is 11 days of getting in touch with agricultural roots, viewing new equipment, watching youth show livestock and crafts, tapping feet at concerts, and feasting on corn dogs and cotton candy.
Monday, August 14 is Farm Bureau/Farm Family Day; a day to honor farm families selected from each county while offering discounts to all fairgoers. Save $1 on gate admission, $5 on an unlimited one-day carnival ride wristband, and save up to $5 on admission to the Outlaw Truck and Tractor Pull. Farm Bureau Day discount coupons are free and only available at your Audrain County Farm Bureau office located at 113E. Jackson St., Mexico, Mo.
Any day of the fair, everyone is welcome to stop by the Missouri Farm Bureau building, located between the historic old administration and MOAG buildings. Find out what is happening with long-standing membership programs and insurance coverages. Enter a drawing to win a John Deere riding lawn tractor. There is no cost to enter this contest and a winner will be drawn after the Fair. Learn some new things about Farm Bureau, too,
“Roots run deep in agriculture and Farm Bureau has been a part of farmers’ and ranchers’ lives for more than 100 years. Farm Bureau and the State Fair have a partnership that goes way back,” Blake Hurst, Missouri Farm Bureau President said. “We are proud to be a major sponsor of the fair. We also look forward to saving fairgoers money on Farm Bureau/Farm Family Day.”
It’s good to be home! The Missouri Farm Bureau building is open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. during the Fair.
