Dr. Robert Sadler, from Culver-Stockton College, will give a presentation on comets, asteroids, and meteors at the M.W. Boudreaux Memorial Visitor Center on July 16 at 6 p.m.
Dr. Robert Sadler, Professor of Physical Science at Culver-Stockton College, will discuss the smaller bodies in the solar system, including dwarf planets, comets, and asteroids. He will also comment on meteors and meteor impacts, and on the potential for mining and resource extraction from asteroids. A short outdoor viewing session will be held if weather permits.
