Ethel Eugenia Stoneberger, 80, of Laddonia, passed away at 12:35 a.m., Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Audrain Medical Center, Mexico. She was born December 13, 1933, in Mexico, the daughter of Spencer and Mary Ethel Allen Davidson.
She was married to Bobby Baize Garnett and then to Alex Stoneberger who preceded her in death September 3, 2003.
Survivors include: four sons, John Garnett, of Bowling Green, Rodney W. (Brenda) Garnett, of Laddonia, Kevin Garnett, of Vandalia, and Markus C. Garnett (Charlotte Mosley), of Mexico; four daughters, Rita Faye Capowski, of Vandalia, Marsh Gay Garnett, Vickie Kay (Steve) Perry, and Angela Kaye Wieberg, all of Laddonia; three brothers, Robert Davidson, of Memphis, Tenn., Jim Davidson, of Columbia, and Johnny Davidson, of Mexico; one sister, Wanda Garnett, of Laddonia; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: one infant son, Ronald Baize Garnett; five brothers, Roy, Caleb, Marvin, Glenn, and Raymond Davidson; and one sister, Flodell Garnett.
Mrs. Stoneberger was a lifetime area resident and homemaker. She was Christian by faith. She enjoyed watching Cardinal baseball games and Duck Dynasty. Gardening, canning and baking were her favorite hobbies.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Bienhoff Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
