ERIS DELL SCHLEMMER

LADDONIA-Services for Eris Dell Schlemmer, 85, of Laddonia, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Bienhoff Funeral Home, Laddonia.
Visitation was held on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Schlemmer passed away at 4:40 a.m., June 12, 1014 at Tri County Care Center in Vandalia.
She was born June 3, 1929 in Ralls County, the daughter of John H. and Roberta Tredway Harrelson. She was married to Howard Charles Schlemmer on August 25, 1960 in New Bloomfield and he preceded her in death July 13, 1991.
Survivors include; one step daughter, Karen (Ray) Heigl, of Pittsfield, Ill.; two step-grandchildren, Tony and Troy Heigl, of St. Louis; and one step-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Irene Jolley.
She was preceded in death by a half brother, Earl Tredway, and two half sisters, Effie Farnsworth, and Geneva Outlaw.
Mrs. Schlemmer was a lifetime area resident and a 1947 graduate of Vandalia High School.  She was Baptist by faith. She was a member of several clubs and really enjoyed her card group that met once a month.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Laddonia Cemetery Association or the Laddonia American Legion Post 510. Pallbearers were Scott Hanson, Jon Robnett, Jay Robnett, Daniel Bosworth, Scott Sims, and Donnie Meador. Honorary pallbearers were  Larry Jolley, and Kenny Robnett.
