Elaine Yvonne Rubemeyer, age 78, of Frankford, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 19, at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green.  Burial was in Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana.  Visitation  was held on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Elaine was born April 28, 1935 in Toul, France, the daughter of Paul and Paulette (Roth) Saint-Dizier.  Nov. 3, 1956 she married William T. Rubemeyer Jr. in Toul, France.  In 1958 William, Elaine, and daughter Evelyn moved to the USA.
Survivors include four children, Evelyn Taylor and husband Larry  of Collins, Mark Rubemeyer and wife Kay of New London, Patricia Lewis and husband Don of Bowling Green, and David Rubemeyer and wife Susie of O’fallon; five brothers, Jeannot, Michel, Alain, Noel, and Serge; four sisters Mariette, Monette, Josie, and Malou; five grandchildren, Jennifer Singleton, Brianne Sides, Adam Rubemeyer, Erin Rubemeyer, and Cody Rubemeyer;  and five great grandchildren, Wesley Sagaser, Gabriel Rubemeyer, Colton Sagaser, Cameron Sides, and Ellie Singleton.
Mrs. Rubemeyer was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers Jacque, Yvon, and Richard.
Elaine was first and foremost a believer in Christ.  She walked with Jesus since 1958.  She enjoyed her family, flowers, gardens, cooking, reading, listening to music and watching movies, especially classics.
Serving as pallbearers were Mark Rubemeyer, Cody Rubemeyer, Adam Rubemeyer, Donald Lewis, Matthew Sides, Josh Sagaser, and Ted Waddell.  Honorary pallbearers were Russell Ransdell, Kevin Ransdell and Larry Taylor.
