Drug arrest made in Curryville by Task Force

According to Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte, on October 2, as part of ongoing drug investigations, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, East Central Drug Task Force, and Highway Patrol Troopers executed a search warrant at 111 West Main St. in Curryville. Seized were 28 morphine pills and cash.
Abraham A. Adams, Sr., age 44, of that address, has been charged by Pike County Prosecuting Attorney Mark Fisher with class A Felony of distribution of a controlled substance near a school (Morphine pills).
Bond was set at $50,000, cash only, by the Honorable David Ash.
Adams was in custody at the time of this release.
All persons charged with a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
