In this, the 57th Annual Congress, the organization has grown to be one of the world’s largest contact lens and primary eye care conferences.

Additionally, the latest information on the medical treatment of eye diseases is covered including several hours featuring the latest in glaucoma management and new innovations in enhancing patients’ vision.
Active members of the Heart of America Eye Care Congress for a combined 43 years, Dr.’s Abbott and Stice are alumni of the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry in St. Louis, Mo.
The congress brings together many internationally respected eye care specialists as well as prominent educators in the fields of contact lenses, eye disease, and primary eye care.
Participants were greeted this year by hundreds of exhibitors displaying the latest in contact lens and vision correction technology in the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center Exhibit Hall.

Dr.’s Abbott and Stice, who have lived in Mexico for about 22 years, own Precision Eyecare in Mexico and Vandalia.
