Dixon Farms gets second in national yield contest

Mike Dixon and Travis Dixon, both of Laddonia, second in the nation in the 2017 NSP Sorghum Yield Contest having entered a Pioneer brand hybrid product in the contest. For their national second place finish using a Pioneer brand hybrid, Pioneer will award them a Pioneer product credit valued at $2,500; a “trip for two” to the 2018 Commodity Classic to be held in Anaheim, Calif. February 26-March 2, and an engraved commemorative award. In addition to second in the national contest, Mike Dixon and Travis Dixon won first place in the state competition.
