Strong demand for top-performing seed products and year-round professional agronomic support are driving continued growth for AgVenture-Wehmeyer Seed Company.
The independently owned and operated regional seed company has continued to expand their reach into Missouri with the recent addition of Regional Distribution Partner (RDP), Nick Deimeke of Mexico, Missouri.
AgVenture-Wehmeyer Seed Sales & Marketing Manager, Matt Wehmeyer said, “We are very pleased to welcome Nick to our company. He is a very knowledgeable agronomy professional with more than ten years of practical experience working directly with customers. He knows the AgVenture product lineup very well and fully understands the genetics and technologies best suited to the local area. As an RDP, he’ll support customers with a comprehensive approach to improving profitability on every acre.”
Born and raised on the family grain and livestock farm at Mexico, Missouri, Deimeke obtained his professional applicator license before earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Northwest Missouri State University in agronomy. He spent time in ag retail before working as an AgVenture Yield Specialist. In addition to farming, he operates a custom application business. He said, “I am deeply aware of the AgVenture seed products. Starting with outstanding seed quality, we provide hybrids and varieties specifically adapted for our local soils and growing environments. On our own farm, the AgVenture corn and soybean seed performs very well, giving us the high yields we look for.”
Deimeke said one specific advantage he looks forward to delivering to his customers is the Maximum Profit System™. “It is a systems-based approach to dramatically increasing yields, lowering cost per bushel and improving overall profitability. We work directly with customers throughout the year helping them implement the best decisions – from seed selection and placement, to tillage and production management options, to crop nutrition and protection. As technology rapidly changes, it’s important that we provide our customers the latest integrated solutions to achieve their goals and improve profitability.”
Wehmeyer added, “Adding Nick to our growing team punctuates our commitment to extending our reach in Missouri. We’re confident in the locally adapted products, and the service and results they’ll receive with his support.”
Deimeke and his wife, Amanda, have been married for ten years and have two children. They are active in the community in which they live and farm.
