The Susannna Randolph Chapter of the Daughter of the American Revolution celebrated their Family and Friends night on November 3 at the First Presbyterian Church.
Regent Muriel Beshears opened the meeting and greeted everyone. Chaplain Pam Oetting led everyone in prayer before the traditional turkey dinner.
The hostesses for the evening were Jennifer Adam, Carolyn Ball, Gayle Jones, and Teresa Wenzel. Each member introduced their guests with approximately 50 in attendance.
Other members attending were Wanda Winders, Paula James, Vicki Wright, Ann Carter, Joy Davis, Ruth Miller, Virginia Howdeshell, Elaine Dameron, Mandi Bryant, Connie Hall, Glee Hanson, Joy Brummitt, Crystal McCurdy, Linda Galloway, Beth Motley, and Judy Flowers.
The meeting adjourned with Muriel thanking everyone for coming and Joy Davis introducing the guest speaker Tonya St. John. Everyone was excused to the church sanctuary for a wonderful presentation from St. John on “My Time in China.”
