We have a very exciting event happening at Dairy Queen this Thursday, August 14.  During this one day event, our store will be donating all of our Blizzard® Treat proceeds (sale price minus cost of ingredients) to MU Children’s Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
As you may already know, CMN Hospitals is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals across North America.  Each year the 170 CMN Hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.  The very special thing about this organization is that donations stay local.  Money raised at my restaurant will aid the children in our community because it will be allocated to our local CMN Hospital.  Since 1984, Dairy Queen’s all over North America have raised over $100 million in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Last year our store raised over $2200.00!  We were very excited to donate the 2nd largest amount in our district.  This year our goal is to raise $3,000 to help make miracles happen.  I’m hoping that you will support our efforts by buying a Blizzard® on Thursday, August 14. I am also selling Blizzard® Treat coupons.  Rather than picking up the product on Miracle Treat Day, you can redeem the coupons for a Blizzard® Treat at a time and date that’s convenient to you, and of course, the contribution will go toward our Miracle Treat Day donation.  Thank you in advance for helping to improve and save the lives of children in our community!
