Vandalia’s Dairy Queen hosted the 11th Annual Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 28.
All Blizzard Treat proceeds from the day’s business (sales price minus the cost of ingredients) were donated to MU Children’s Hospital in Columbia.
During the event, the MU Children’s Hospital mascot “T.J.” joined local firefighters and EMTs as part of an interactive experience for kids of all ages in the Dairy Queen parking lot.
Last year, the business raised more than $4,500 for the hospital.
CMN Hospitals is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospital across North America.
Each year the 170 CMN Hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
