Sunday, January 6

Residents enjoyed attending church services at churches of their choice throughout the community, as well as an in-home church service provided by Mr. Doug Stork.

Monday, Jan. 7

Everyone was excited when they herd what was in store for them today, exercises! Residents spent their day doing Range of Motion exercises and participating in a walk-a-thon. They felt very good about their accomplishments today.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

Today residents were excited for a shopping trip, one of their favorite activities! Residents spent their morning making out their shopping lists of things that they wanted to buy, then after lunch they traveled to town to the local stores to do their shopping.

Wednesday, Jan. 9

Stories were being told all though the home when residents took part in playing “Tell me about at time…” They told about times when they were raising their children and spoiling their grandchildren and when they’re parents were raising them and their grandparents were spoiling them.

Thursday, Jan. 10

Residents brightened up the dining room when they colored pictures today to hang on the wall for everyone to see.

Friday, January 11

Spirits were high as the residents chose multiple movies to watch for their movie night, they chose movies from animated cartoons and old time westerns, they sure do like their movies.

Saturday, Jan. 12

Today was a day of pampering for the residents, they got their hair “all dolled up” and their nails painted any color of their choice. — Jinnifer Harrower
