The Board of Aldermen of the City of Farber met in regular session at City Hall on Monday, February 13 at 5 p.m. with the following members present: Mayor John Hodde; Alderpersons Ronald Greenplate, Lynn Flowers, Tony Shade, Gary Stubblefield; and Marie Bounds, city clerk. Others present were Alan Winders and Police Chief Ray Bumbales.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as presented. The listing of Accounts Payable was presented and approved.
The filing date for accepting bids for mowing of city property is 5 p.m. on March 13.
Bid forms are available at City Hall.
County Commissioner Alan Winders was present to clarify what he told MoDOT at the meeting held at R-VI concerning the intersections at Basinger Corner and Scott’s Corner.
He said he would mention improved lighting at these intersections at the next meeting.
A Merchants License application from Cory Dieckmann for a Car Lot was tabled.
Chief Bumbales said he has tagged seven vehicles and is organizing information to be sent out about Neighbor Watch, Jr. Patrol and Bike Patrol.
