Sunday School attendance and morning worship attendance May 29 was about the same as last week. We enjoyed an uplifting message from Bro. Zach LaRue from New Albany, Mississippi. We are very pleased to have members of the congregation who seldom miss. God truly blessed us in the services.
This week, Wednesday, June 1, at 7 p.m., Pastor Glenn Forman will lead a brief bible study on prayer followed by the weekly interactive prayer service. Also, at 7 p.m. each Wednesday, Mrs. Kristy Schott leads the “Patch the Pirate Club” (PPC). PPC is for children from ages 4-12. In PPC, children sing scripture songs, participate an age appropriate Bible study and other Bible activities. Mrs. Kristy Schott is assisted by Mrs. Virginia Rivers. Bro. Ron Schott leads the Youth Group each Wednesday at 7 p.m. and he is assisted by Bro. Alan Larson.
Our morning Sunday School has space available for any who are interested in Bible study. Sunday School begins each week at 9:30 a.m. Morning Worship begins at 10:45 a.m. Our pastor will bring a challenging message straight from the Bible. Bro. Orley Smith will present a special number on the piano during the offering. The worship service will feature songs from the hymn book led by Mrs. Kristy Schott. This Sunday special music will be provided by prior to the morning message.
All members are asked to send hard copies of photographs for the special Father’s Day recognition later this month or send them by e-mail or phone text to Pastor Forman or Bro. Ron Schott (Please get your pictures in as soon as possible).
On Sunday evening at 6 p.m., Pastor Forman will bring a challenging message. Special music will be presented by the Ladies’ Trio (Mrs. Nancy Wyss, Mrs. Janet Carson, and Mrs. Martha Vanskike) before the evening message. GA’s will also meet at 6 p.m. The GA’s are led by Mrs. Valory Wright.
