On Sunday, October 2, 39 were counted in Sunday School, and about 60 were in attendance for morning worship. The congregation was led in the singing of hymns by Mrs. Beverly LaRue. Pastor Glenn Forman presented a message entitled “So, What Shall We Do?” with a text from Ezekiel 3:17-18 and scripture reading from Ezekiel 3:15-24. Isaiah Schott presented a piano solo, “Holy, Holy, Holy” just prior to the morning message. Following the message, the church observed the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper. It was a great service!
On Sunday evening at 6 p.m., there were 27 in attendance as Pastor Forman delivered a four point message entitled “What Do You Expect?”
Before the message, Mrs. Kristy Schott led the congregation in hymns.
A solo “Moment by Moment” was presented by Mrs. Diane Baker prior to the evening message.
RA’s and GA’s did not meet at 6 p.m.
At 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 4 will be the first night of our Fall Revival. The Reverend Bob Knight will be bringing the message both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., our Fall meeting will continue with preaching by Reverend Paul Young, of Sturgeon Baptist Church. Saturday evening preaching will be from the Reverend Ken Martin, of California, Mo.
We are praying and expecting to see our church and the community renewed as a result of God’s move during the Fall Revival.
Each night of revival special music will be presented by the adult choir and or by individuals from the church.
We ask you to make plans and join us this week for Bible Study. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m.
Morning Worship begins at 10:45 a.m. During the morning service a “Noisy Offering” will be collected from the crowd by our young children. This offering is designated for support of Cornerstone Ministries (Titus Khamala, Kenya, East Africa).
Preaching will once again be by the Reverend Martin which will conclude our fall revival meeting. The congregation will be led in singing hymns by Mrs. Schott. On Sunday morning, the special music will be presented by Kristy prior to the morning message.
On Sunday evening October 3, at 6 p.m., Kristy will lead the congregation in singing hymns, Josiah Schott will present special music and Pastor Forman will bring a Bible message on the topic of conserving the results of revival.
