Church members attend camp

The Rush Hill Community Church youth and adults recently attended a Group Work Camp in East Moline, Ill.
They were part of 316 attendants from 10 states and 17 churches.
Participants built porches, wheelchair ramps, and painted for the elderly, disabled, and low income residents.
They were part of completing 36 sites and accumulating 9,540 hours of volunteer service.
The group stayed at the United Township High School.
Participants attended morning and evening worship services as well as an afternoon devotion on their work site.
This marks the 11th year for Rush Hill youth to participate in a Group Work Camp all across the country. The Rush Hill Community Church will be hosting a Group Work Camp in Mexico, Mo. in July, 2019.
