Christina M. Evans, 56 of Hannibal, died at 12:19 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, 2013 in Hannibal.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.  Burial was in Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation was held on Monday, Oct. 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Christina was born on April 23, 1957 in Bowling Green, to Robert Lewis Welch Sr. and Nellie Annie Irene Adams Welch.
She was married on June 27, 1981 in Ralls County to Thomas M. Evans.  He survives.
Other survivors include:  two daughters, Ashley Wigle (Charlie) and Crystal Smith (Brian); one son, Brenton Evans; three brothers, Robert Lewis Welch Jr. (Dorothy) of Springfield, Charles Daniel Welch (Linda) of St. Joseph, Joseph Eugene Welch of Kansas City; four sisters, Anita Irene Welch Niffen (Glenn) of Bowling Green, Wilma Frances Welch Furgeson of St. Joseph, Lenora Ellen Welch Cairo (Philip) of Atchison, Kan., and Loretta Estella Welch Keller of Kirbyville; two grandchildren, Kayla Smith and Breanne Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Bettie Nadine Welch Clements Darby and Lillian Jeanette Welch Paxton; one brother, Michael Glenn Welch; and two nieces, Cheryl Welch and Margaret Irene Niffen.
Mrs. Evans had previously worked as a clerk at Kroger’s in Hannibal for over 19 years.  She most recently had worked at the Swiss Colony Company in Hannibal. Christina enjoyed crafts and loved to cook and collect recipes.  She also liked to read and most of all spend time with her family.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research in care of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made and video tribute viewed at
