CHRIS ALAN STUCKENSCHNEIDER

Chris Alan Stuckenschneider, 42, of Martinsburg, passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2014 at his parents home.
Chris was born on March 6, 1972 in Mexico, Mo., the son of Lawrence “Rooster” Stuckenschneider and Carolyn (Jett) Stuckenschneider.
He was a 1986 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School in Martinsburg and a 1990 graduate of Community R-VI in Laddonia.
His greatest pleasure was farming.  He started going along with his Dad to the fields at a young age.
He loved planting and growing crops and raising cattle. For the last two years, his nephew was farming with him and his Dad.
He also liked watching Nascar racing.  He was a member of the Martinsburg Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his parents, a sister Tammy Stuckenschneider, nephews Treyton Kobush and Talon Kobush, all of Martinsburg; nephew Steven Stuckenschneider, of Columbia; grandparents John and Mildred Allen, of Fulton, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother Ricky Stuckenschneider, grandparents Ervin Jett, Elizabeth Stuckenschneider, and Ted Stuckenschneider.
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg with Fr. Greg Oligschlaeger officiating.  Visitation was held on Wednesday evening from 4-7 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Burial took place in St. Joseph Cemetery in Martinsburg.
Pallbearers were Talon Kobush, Treyton Kobush, Randy Stuckenschneider, Robbie Hawkins, Jon Primus, and Tom Aulbur.  Honorary Pallbearers were Ronnie Stuckenschneider, John Haines, Rick Stroup, Tony Fischer, and Robert Risenhoover.
