Catherine “Kitti” Grimm, age 62, of Bowling Green went home to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, April 6, 2013.
Memorial services celebrating her life will be held Thursday, April 11 at 7 p.m. at the Church of the Nazarene in Bowling Green with Rev. Robert Warren officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
She was born in Louisiana on June 17, 1950, the daughter of Walter and Arneda McKinsey Jeffries.
She is survived by one daughter Joleen Brown and husband Randy of Bowling Green; one son Tony Grimm and wife Melody of Bourbonnais, Ill.; five grandchildren, Ashley and Hannah Grimm, Jesse and Conner Betts, and Cole Cash; two sisters Judee Adair and husband Bill of Blue Springs, and Sande Holman and husband Danny of O’Fallon.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Kitti worked as an LPN for several nursing homes in the area.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Bowling Green and had an unwavering faith in God.
Over the years, she had become very involved in the church and assisted with numerous areas of ministry.
She was also a prayer warrior and helped out wherever possible and whenever needed.
Kitti practiced Luke 10:27 that says, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, love your neighbor as yourself”.
