The Van-Far Indians had another action- packed summer, traveling to Westran, Monroe City, the Paradise Classic at the Lake, Wentzville Holt, and the UCM Team Camp in Warrensburg.

In an electrifying second-round District match at Van-Far, the Van-Far Indians showcased their resilience and skill, overcoming an early setback to secure a commanding 54 – 6 victory against Hayti.

Dalton Hays, Senior Dalton Hays, a senior at Van-Far High School, is a name well-known in the halls and on the athletic fields. With a passion for sports, Dalton has lettered in football and baseball, showcasing his athletic daring and enthusiasm. This season, he has made an impressive mark with 11 solo tackles, 19 assists, and five tackles for a loss. His hard work and skill earned him the title of All-District linebacker last year, and he was recognized as the All-Conference defensive player during his sophomore year.

Garrett Hopke’s cross country state finals

The Van-Far Cross-Country team arrived at the Class 2, District 3 meet with a mix of excitement and determination. The crisp autumn air set the perfect mood for a day of intense competition. Among the team, all eyes were on Garrett Hopke, the standout runner this year who had already made a name for himself by advancing to state competition the previous year.

The Van-Far football team has much to celebrate as the EMO All-District honors were recently announced, recognizing the outstanding performances of several players this season.

With the season for the Van-Far Lady Indians Varsity softball team over, four standout players earned prestigious All-District honors, showcasing their exceptional skills and dedication on the field.
