FRANK STURM JR.

Frank G. Sturm, Jr., 66, of St. Charles, Mo, died Nov. 22, 2024, at St. Louis University Hospital, surrounded by his family. He fought a valiant fight against AML leukemia, having been diagnosed in May of 2024. Frank was the son of Frank G. Sturm, Sr. and Frances Berry Sturm. He was born Feb. 21, 1958, in St Louis, MO. He grew up in Louisiana, Mo., and considered Louisiana his hometown. Frank graduated from Louisiana High School in 1977. On Oct. 8, 1983, Frank was married to Kelly Troutner (Holtsman) and together, they had one son, Timothy Kyle Sturm.

LINDA BARNES LEOPOLD

Linda Barnes Leopold, 70, of Eolia, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024, in Silex, Mo., surrounded by her loving children. Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, from 9 - 11 a.m. at Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes & Crematory in Bowling Green, Mo. The service will be officiated by Pastor Jason Hamilton at 11 a.m. A private graveside service will be held at Ashley Cemetery at a later date.

Orlynn Reece Evans, 89, died Nov. 9, 2024, in Granbury, Texas. He was born Oct. 2, 1935 in Gardner, Kan., to Leona Howell Evans and Harry D. Evans. His ashes will be spread in the Rocky Mountains. A tombstone has been placed in Vandalia, Mo., cemetery.

Lawrence J. Griffith "John D," 64, of Hannibal, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024. John D was born on Dec. 1, 1959 in Louisiana, Mo., to Pauline Griffith and Lawrence Crowder. He attended Louisiana High School. He worked at Hannibal Regional Hospital for a number of years. Once he found out he had cancer, he would tell everyone don't put off having your screenings done. Even if they were tired of hearing him say it.

Lynne Barbano, 59, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024, in Louisiana, Mo., where she spent her last few years. Born in Chicago, Ill., on Aug. 18 1965, Lynne lived a rich life that took her from her hometown Louisiana, Mo., to places as far as Wyoming, Georgia, and Florida.
