DESE awards $2.5 million in Grow Your Own Grants to 125 LEAs, including $10,000 to Van-Far
For the second consecutive year, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has successfully awarded Grow Your Own grants to 125 local education agencies. With a Fiscal Year 2025 budget allocation of $2.5 million, DESE is providing onetime grants of $10,000 to LEAs to establish or enhance their local Grow Your Own programs. These initiatives aim to bolster the recruitment of quality teachers across Missouri.
