Audrain County passes Senior Tax Credit
MEXICO—The Audrain County Commission passed an ordinance last week, which provides a process for residents who are 62 years of age or older on their primary residence to qualify for a tax credit. This is in response to the Missouri legislature passing Senate Bill 190 in 2023 and Senate Bill 756 in 2024.

The Audrain County Health Department has established a new $2,500 scholarship opportunity for nursing students from Audrain County in remembrance of Kay Dubbert, a long-term retired employee who died in 2024.
