Caceres makes presentation at meeting

Enrique Caceres makes his presentation.

The 83rd Liberty Belles held their February meeting on February 23 at the Spencer Creek Baptist Church in Vandalia. A letter was read by President Cindy Evans from member Bevy McCullom who had recently moved to South Dakota. She thanked the Liberty Belles for a hand-made Valentine designed at the last meeting and updated the group on life out west. Treasurer Brenda Babb will send a donation to Project Prom.
The program was presented by foreign exchange student Enrique Caceres who is living with the Ralph and Christy Nelson family.
He spoke of the interesting country of Paraguay and the experiences of a foreign exchange student living in a different country. Members and guests attending were Ann Evans, Natalie and Duane Gibson, Brenda and Alida Gower, Brenda Babb, Cindy and Paul Evans, Ellen Smith and granddaughter, Jean Fowler, Dorothy Black, Jan Kirklink, Sharon and Bob Hoehn.
The hostess prize was won by Alida Gower. Everyone enjoyed the evening and appreciated the presentation.
