Local Freemasons presented Van-Far staff with a check on Thursday to support Van-Far’s “Blessings in a Bag” program. The $2,360 check represented combined donations from Vandalia Lodge No. 491 and the Widows Sons Masonic Riders Association, Sons of Light Chapter, as well as a matching grant from the Missouri Masonic Home Foundation’s “Creating A Partnership” initiative. This gift marks the second year of matching gift partnerships that the Vandalia Lodge has presented to the “Blessings in a Bag” program and their first year in partnership with the Sons of Light.
