Services for Betty Jane Rawlings, 82, of Vandalia, were held at at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Laddonia, with Reverend Bob Balwanz officiating.
Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Vandalia.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rawlings passed away at 4:30 p.m., July 19, 2015 at Life Care Center in Waynesville.
She was born August 11, 1932 in Audrain County, the daughter of Claude and Wilma Lee Lovelace Beedle.
She was married to William Eugene Rawlings on August 3, 1963 and he preceded her in death June 27, 1974. Survivors include one son, Michael (Elizabeth) Rawlings, of Waynesville; one stepson, Billy (Jo-Ann) Rawlings, of Lebanon; one step-daughter, Jeanne (Kevin) Merritt, of Columbia; one brother, Claude Beedle, Jr., of Vandalia; two grandchildren, Taylor and Jenna Rawlings, of Waynesville; four step-grandchildren, Timmy Rawlings and Ronald Rawlings, both of Columbia; Amanda Ishman, and Jamie Rawlings, both of Lebanon; and several step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, James Allen Beedle.
Mrs. Rawlings was a lifetime area resident and worked in the clerical field for many years, first at Bobbie Brooks and then Cal-Jack. She enjoyed her family and doing genealogy.
Pallbearers were Kevin Merritt, Craig Lee, Gary Baumgartner, Jim Hulse, Scott Hanson, and Derwin Straube.
