Local residents Frank Wallace and Debbie Hopke have graciously donated a quarter of a beef and processing fees for a raffle to benefit the Eastern Missouri Family YMCA Project. The value of the beef and processing fees is estimated at $600. The beef is being provided by Wallace Family Meats, which is known for high quality, hormone and antibiotic-free beef. Wallace cattle are corn-fed and roam free across 250 acres of grass and woods on a 5th generation local farm. To learn more about the donated beef, visit www.wallacemeats.com or visit the store located at 907 East Highway 54 in Vandalia. To provide the full package for this raffle, Debbie Hopke is providing the processing expenses for the beef. The beef will be processed at Center Locker.
Raffle tickets are $10 each and can be purchased from YMCA committee members or at Vandalia businesses Shear Platinum, Gentle Healthy Smiles, First National Bank, Martinsburg Bank and Trust, and the United Credit Union. The beef raffle winner will be announced on December 17 at a YMCA celebration event. Details for the event are still in progress, but will include cookies with Santa.
Both Frank and Debbie are active supporters and advocates for the Eastern Missouri Family YMCA. The YMCA would like to express appreciation for Frank and Debbie’s contributions for this event and all their additional help with the project. Help make this fundraising event successful by purchasing a raffle ticket.
