Audrain County R-6 FFA Chapter has accomplished many things since this time last year.  Our chapter and members received many awards and accomplishments over the past year.  We had 4 State Degree recipients, 2 Area Proficiency winners, and 1 State Proficiency winner.  There were also 2 CDE teams that made it to state.  The Agronomy team got 11th place and the Meats team got 1st in state and 9th in nationals!  Many awards were given out at Area and Chapter banquets.  Over the summer, our members participated in the State and North East District Fairs.  In September, we had 4 trap houses built that our teams and other schools’ teams use for practice.  At our annual Degree night, we recognized the Greenhand and Chapter Degree recipients.  At National Convention our chapter received the 3 Star Chapter Award.  We also had a few members give Fall Public Speeches at the Area level.  Our FFA chapter is extremely active on the local level as well, participating in many community service projects throughout the year.
Our most recent was a canned food drive for Thank-A-Farmer Week. We partnered with our FBLA chapter and collected over 400 cans to donate to the Laddonia Food Bank. We hope to continue to grow our chapter and find success in the coming years.
