The Audrain County R-VI FFA Members recently attended the Bradford Field Day in Columbia.
At Bradford Farms, FFA members from around the area got the chance at hands-on opportunities. Bradford Field Day gave FFA members a chance to grow their spectrum of the agricultural field careers and opportunities the students could never get while sitting in a classroom.
Members learned new innovations in the agriculture industry. For example, drones in used in agriculture.
At Bradford Field Day, FFA members got to stick their hands in a fistulated cow to feel the stomach lining. Other topics for the day included Ag Engineering, Leadership, College and Career Readiness, Plant Sciences, and much more. Many opportunities are opened through this day and we are very thankful for all the people that make that happen.
The FFA is a national youth organization with over 625,000 members nationwide. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
