MEXICO—Good sized crowds came out for the 2019 Audrain County 4-H and Youth Fair, which was held July 19-23 in Mexico.
The fair offered many activities throughout the five-day event.
Those that attended had a good time, despite the heat and other weather-related events.
Events at this year’s fair included a Fair Royalty Coronation, Baby Show, Little Mr. and Little Miss Contest, a Dog Show, a Sheep show, a Super Farmer Contest, and much, much more.
The 4-H/FFA horse show was postponed because of wet conditions. It has been rescheduled for Friday, Aug. 2, starting at 6:30 p.m.
The Audrain County Fair supports four FFA chapters and six 4-H and Clover Kids Clubs.
The FFA chapters are Centralia, Mexico, Community R-VI, and Van-Far.
The 4-H/Clover Kids Clubs are B&G Hustlers, BeeBo Bouncers, Busy Beavers, Country Bumpkins, F&L Hustlers, and Merry Martins.
Results from some of the 4-H shows and competitions were not available as of press time. Fair photos appear on this page and on Page 8.
