Several Vandalia area residents have been enjoying their time at the Vandalia Family Aquatic Center since it opened on May 29.
Open swim times are 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 12:30-6:30 p.m. on Sundays.
The daily admission for those 16 and older is $4, under 16 costs $3, while children 3 and under are free.
Children must be at least 8 years old to enter alone and those younger must be accompanied by a 15-year-old or older.
Family swim times are 5:45-6:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Aquacise classes go from 5:45-6:45 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays starting with this past June 6.
Season passes and private party rentals are also available. The passes are $45 for individual, $135 for a family with a maximum of three full price passes, plus $10 for each additional family member.
According to a brochure on the Aquatic Center, approximately 79,000 people have visited the facility since it opened in 2006.
