Area players named all-conference

Four Community R-VI players along with one player from Van-Far were named last week to the All-EMO Conference team for 2015.
The Trojans’ Lane Thebeau was named a first-team pitcher while his brother Clay Thebeau earned first-team honors as an outfielder. Kyle Curtis earned first-team honors as an utility player. Collin Dungan was the fourth Trojan baseball player receiving honors as he was named second-team all-conference.
Van-Far’s Josh Hodde was the lone Indian selected. He received second-team honors.

First-Team Pitcher: Lane Thebeau (Community R-VI), Austin Noble and Jorden Billings (Bowling Green)
First-Team Outfield: Clay Thebeau (Community R-VI), Colton Groshong (Silex), and Kobe McPike (Bowling Green)
First-Team Utility: Josh Miller (Clopton), Matt Mueller (Silex), Donovan Mozee (Wright City), Kyle Curtis (Community R-VI), Jake Niemeyer (Bowling Green), and Brandon Hagedorn (North Callaway)
First-Team Catcher: Chase Jones (Wright City) and Wyatt Branson (North Callaway)
Matt Henry (Elsberry), David Dietz (Clopton), Cory Buchanan (Bowling Green), and Kyle Tuepker (Wright City)
Second-Team: Alex Roy and Ashton Oberman (Bowling Green); Tyler Brittain and Devin Telkamp (Wright City); Josh Hodde (Van-Far); Luke Adams and Jamon Graham (Clopton); Zach Rimel, Tyler Turnbull, and Jon Almus (Elsberry); Collin Dungan (Community R-VI); and J.T. Higgins (North Callaway)
