On Sunday, September 10, Faith Tabernacle COGIC, at 907 West Home St., will observe their Annual Women’s Day.
The service will begin at 2 p.m. with a dinner following the afternoon service.
The guest speaker for the afternoon service will be Lady Carmen Douglas, wife of Bishop Frank Douglas, Jurisdictional Bishop of Western Missouri First Jurisdiction of Church of God in Christ, Kansas City, Mo.
Lady Douglas will also be sharing experiences of her recent trip to Africa. Everyone is welcome to attend this special service.
Lady Carmen Douglas is the First Lady of Beth Judah Ministries C.O.G.I.C., where she serves as both the Director of Women’s Ministries and Director of the “Helping Hands” food pantry.
As the director of Beth Judah’s Women’s Ministry, her concentration is in teaching, training, and equipping the women to become prayerful Godly servants of the Lord and to lead with bold faith and conviction in the home, church, and community.
She is an “intercessory” prayer warrior standing in the gap on behalf of many.
She is known as a true worshiper and considered a God chaser because of her unrestricted outward expression of praise and worship.
Lady Carmen Douglas is a licensed Evangelist Missionary with the International Church of God in Christ led by Presiding Bishop Charles E. Blake and serves nationally in the “Bishop’s Wives Circle.”
Lady Carmen is the loving wife of Bishop Frank H. Douglas, Jr., Jurisdictional Prelate of the Missouri Western First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction headquartered in Kansas City, Mo. Bishop and Mrs. Douglas are the proud parents of a blended family of six children and are grandparents to three.
