Posted on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 1:06 pm

The Audrain County Health Department (ACHD) will be offering Tdap and Meningococcal Vaccine to young adults’ ages 19 through 26 years of age at a discounted rate of $15 per visit until the end of August, 2014. This is a one-time opportunity to receive these vaccines at a very reduced rate because the MO Department of Health and Senior Services’ Bureau of Immunization Assessment and Assurance provided the vaccine. Any children ages 11-18 years of age have always been able to receive this vaccine at the health department for $15 a visit.
Anyone needing these vaccines is welcome to come to ACHD at 1130 S Elmwood Mexico Monday thru Friday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
This special opportunity also allows ACHD staff to offer these two vaccines at local schools for a charge of $15 per person.   ACHD will be offering these vaccines to Mexico ATC students at their building August 21, 2014.
ACHD staff will be vaccinating students age 11 through 18 with these immunizations at the Mexico Public School system on August 25 and at Van-Far schools on August 28.
