Mexico Middle School recently received a Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite award. There are three standards; Gold, Silver, and Bronze. ACHD’s goal is to help support other worksites in Audrain County to be recognized as being breastfeeding friendly. The Middle School received the Silver Standard Award.
ACHD is part of the HEAL (Healthy Eating Active Living) program which is sponsored by the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS). One of ACHDs strategies is to increase the number of employers in Audrain County recognized as Missouri Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite by September 1st, 2015.
Recognition is through the State of Missouri- Department of Health and Senior Services and the Audrain County Health Department.
Congratulations goes to Mexico Middle School for becoming a Breastfeeding Friendly Worksite! Keep up the great work!
