ACHD inspections

The Audrain County Health Department (ACHD) provided the following food establishment inspection report for the month of August.
• New China, of Vandalia, inspected on August 5, received an inspection score of 93 with critical violations for Date Marking, Improper Thawing, and Food Grade Container.
• Mexico Senior Center, inspected on August 13, received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
• SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital- Audrain Cafeteria, inspected on August 13, received an inspection score of 100 with one critical violation for Temperature Abuse which was corrected on the spot.
• Breaktime, on Monroe, was inspected on August 18 and received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Casey’s General Store, on Monroe, was inspected on August 18 and received a score of 99 with no critical violations.
• Breaktime, on Highway 22, was inspected on August 18 and received a score of 100 with one critical violation of No Hand Soap at the Hand Sink which was corrected on the spot
• Abels Quick Stop, on West Monroe, was inspected on August 19 and received a score of 100 with a critical violation for Sanitizer which was corrected on the spot.
• Community R-VI, of Laddonia, was inspected on August 19 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Van-Far High School was inspected on August 25 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Van-Far Elementary School was inspected on August 25 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Hawthorne Elementary School was inspected on August 26 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Mexico Senior High School was inspected on August 26 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
