ACHD Health Inspections

The Audrain County Health Department (ACHD) inspected the following food establishments and sent a report of the results:
• Domino’s Pizza was inspected November 1 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• The Donut Palace and Kolache was inspected on November 1 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Dos Arco’s was inspected on November 1 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• The Mexico Senior Center was inspected on November 7 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Casa Del Sol was inspected on November 7 and received a score of 97 with a critical violation for no date marking on potentially hazardous food items.
• Cat’s Kitchen was inspected on November 8 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Taco Bell was inspected on November 14 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Stacy’s Place was inspected on November 14 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Hardees was inspected on November 14 and received a score of 93 with violation of using a non-food grade container to store food and Equipment Food Contact Surface (FCS) not clean.
• Dugout Bar and Grill was inspected on November 14 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Hugo’s was inspected on November 14 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Pizza Works was inspected on November 14 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
•Audrain County Jail was inspected on November 15 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Sonic was inspected on November 15 and received a score of 99 with no critical violations.
• Mexico Country Club was inspected on November 15 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Moser’s Food was inspected on November 15 and received a score of 99 with critical violations of misbranding outdated medicine and children’s formula.
• Porky’s was inspected on November 15 and received a score of 96 with critical violations for Ready to eat (RTE), potentially hazardous food (PHF), not date marked.
• Casey’s on Monroe St., was inspected on November 20 and received a score of 100.
• Murphy USA was inspected on November 24 and received a score of 99 with a critical violations for no hot water, which was corrected at the time.
• Xpress Mart No. 6 was inspected on November 24 and received a score of 91 with critical violations for chemicals stored with food, microwave dirty. Demonstration given of knowledge for food safety.
• Countryside Manor was inspected on November 27 and received a score of 99 with no critical violations.
• Dollar General, of Vandalia, was inspected on November 27 and received a score of 97 with critical violations for toxic chemicals stored over food and single serve items.
• Arbors at Lakeview Bend was inspected on November 27 and received a score of 100 with no critical violations.
• Brick City Buffet was inspected on November 27 and received a score of 89 with critical violations for no date marking, unlabeled bottle, can opener dirty, Food storage containers, outer opening of facility open for insects, no identification on food, ice buildup in freezer on floor and outer packages of food.
• Tri-County Care Center was inspected on November 20 and received a score of 97 with critical violations for raw meats above RTE foods.
• Hobo’s Bar and Grill was inspected on November 30 and received a score of 93 with critical violations for dirty food contact surfaces-Micro wave needed cleaning and bare hand contact with ready to eat foods.
• Teddy Joe’s Bar and Grill was inspected on November 30 and received a score of 99 with critical violations for nonfood contact surfaces dirty and/or soiled (fan covers in walk-in).
