The Audrain County Health Department (ACHD) submitted this report of the October Food Establishment Inspections.
October 2
Break Time, on Clark St., received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
The Laura Miller George Help Center received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Martinsburg Kwik Stop received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Cinema III Theater received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations as renovations are being done at the time of inspection.
October 3
Sunnydale Academy Farm Prep Kitchen received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Sunnydale Academy received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
October 4
Fast Lane, in Laddonia, received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Casey’s, in Laddonia, received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Pick-a-Dilly, in Vandalia, received an inspection score of 96 with a critical violation for sanitizer being too strong.
Subway, in Vandalia, received an inspection score of 99 with a critical violation for food being properly labeled.

Vegas Burritos received an inspection score of 99 with critical violations for torn seat cushions and broken floor tiles.
October 10
Hawthorne Elementary received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
St. Brendan’s School received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
October 11
Mexico High School received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Hummingbird Winery received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
October 12
Mexico Middle School received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
China King received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Pig Up and Go received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.

Vandalia High School received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Dairy Queen, of Vandalia, received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Van-Far Elementary School, in Vandalia, received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Abels Quick Stop, on Monroe St., received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
October 19
Laddonia Community R-VI School received an inspection score of 96 with a critical violation for food stored in ice crème containers.
October 24
Terry’s Country Store received an inspection score of 97 with a critical violation for outdated children’s medicine.
October 26
Missouri Military Academy received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
New China received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Goodfella’s Bar and Grill received an inspection score of 97 with a critical violation for needing to clean food contact surfaces/ice machine
October 31
McMillan Elementary received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
Eugene Field Elementary received an inspection score of 100 with no critical violations.
County Market, of Vandalia, received an inspection score of 96 with critical violations for dirty food contact surfaces and dirty non-food contact surfaces
Public Health provides informal safe food handling training during food establishment inspections. Many violations are corrected during the inspection process.
