The Eastern Missouri Family YMCA announced its 6th Annual Community-Wide Diaper Drive, benefiting local families through partnerships with Parents as Teachers, CMCA Early Head Start, and Options for Women.
Donations are being accepted through Nov. 30.
“This annual event is an important way for our community to come together to support families in need, especially during the holiday season,” said YMCA Branch Director Debbie Hopke.
“Over the past three years, thanks to the generosity of our community, we have collected more than 320 essential items for local families. Diapers are a critical need for many parents, and every donation goes a long way toward making life a bit easier for families facing financial challenges.
“We invite everyone to participate in this year’s diaper drive by dropping donations off at the YMCA. Contributions of diapers in any size, baby wipes, diaper rash cream, and personal care items are greatly appreciated. Together, we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of families and strengthen our community.”
Hopke asked that everyone join them in giving back and helping make the season a little brighter for those who need it most.
