The Community R-VI boys basketball team beat the Madison Panthers on the road, 55-28. The Trojans solid offense allowed them to lead all four quarters.
In the first quarter, the Trojans came out strong and scored 19 points. The Trojan defense only allowed four points.
While the Panthers tried to put up some points in the second, the Trojans added 16 points to pull farther ahead at halftime, 35-10.
At the end of third quarter, the Trojans held a 27 point lead.
The Trojans closed the door on any offensive rallies in the fourth quarter to hold on for the overwhelming victory.
Leading scorer was Conner Brooks with 20 points. Clay Thebeau made 10 points and Anthony Fairchild got eight rebounds. The Trojans were 6-for-8 from the free throw line.
