Sara Beth Shaw and Stephen Douglas Martin were married March 10, 2012, at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, on the Westminster College Campus in Fulton, Mo.
The Rev. Ron Mills of Blue Springs, Mo. performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Shaw of Curryville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Martin of Odessa, Mo.
Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister-in-law, Kimberly Shaw of Curryville, as matron of honor.
Gregory Martin of Odessa, Mo., brother of the groom, served as best man.
Ushers were Michael Shaw of Curryville, brother of the bride, and Pat Boutross of Bates City, Mo., friend of the groom. Lauren Shaw of Curryville, niece of the bride and daughter of Michael and Kimberly Shaw, was the junior bridesmaid. Kristen Shaw of Curryville, niece of the bride and daughter of Michael and Kimberly Shaw, was the flower girl. Dawna Martin of Odessa, Mo., sister-in-law of the groom, attended the guest book.
Music was provided by Julia Matthews, organist, of St. Louis, Patrice Zap, mezzo-soprano, of Fulton, Joanne Chang, pianist, of New York City, and Jeanne Heinze, clarinetist, of Atlanta.
The reception was held at Backer Dining Hall on the Westminster College Campus in Fulton, Mo.
The bride is a graduate of Van-Far High School, the University of Missouri-Columbia, Manhattan School of Music, and Cox College, Springfield, Mo. She is a registered nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital in Blue Springs, Mo.
The groom is a graduate of Blue Springs High School and Central Missouri State University. He is a conductor for Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad in Kansas City, Missouri.
The newlyweds reside in Blue Springs, Mo.
